Over the past two months, you have stood with us in the campaign to stop the Photo ID amendment in the Minnesota State Legislature. Together we’ve made calls, followed the money trail behind Photo ID to the doors of Wells Fargo and have stood at the Capitol to make our voices heard.
The next step for the Photo ID amendment is a Minnesota Senate floor vote. If we are going to keep this drastic and out-of-touch amendment off the ballot, we’re going to do it in the Senate. That’s why we need you there with us, and we need your help to pack the Capitol.
Please join us at the Capitol for a rally beginning at 12:30 pm this Friday, March 23rd. (We will continue as long as the bill is on the floor, so, if you cannot arrive at 12:30, please come as soon as you can.)
If you haven’t already done so, click here to RSVP.
This is the moment to stop Photo ID once and for all in Minnesota. We need you at the Capitol Friday afternoon.
Like so many bills we’ve seen at the Capitol this year, the Photo ID Amendment is a national attack on our democracy by the 1%. Join us as we raise our voices to protect Minnesota’s democracy for the 99%.
It’s not too late to stop Photo ID from getting on the ballot. Please call Senate Majority Leader Dave Senjem right now and tell him to say no to Photo ID. (651) 296-3903.
